Hey, I'm Emily or Mrs WilLBfit.

 

I used to be a radiotherapist in the NHS, but my passion for fitness led me to become a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer. I've been an instructor since 2015 and a personal trainer since 2019.

 

In 2020, I left the NHS to work full-time at the gym with my husband, Luke (aka Mr WilLBfit). During the lockdown, I furthered my training as a pre and postnatal personal trainer and sports massage therapist.

 

It's been an amazing journey, and I've never looked back!

Hello I'm Luke

I began my fitness journey when I was 18. Started how everybody else did back then: Running, Press-Ups, Sit-Ups, Bicep Curls. And that was about it! 

 

Over the years since, I’ve tried to expand my knowledge in fitness turning my efforts towards Olympic weightlifting, bodybuilding, triathlons, high intensity, crossfit and even more.  Almost every discipline out there I’ve dedicated at least 6 months to at a time! 

 

It’s been a trial through many errors, but I’ve found out what works for shape, what works for weight-loss, what works for size, what works for health and longevity, and what routines are just fads. 

 

On top of the experience, I’ve also been a Fitness Professional for near-on 15 years. I’ve worked in many gyms with many clients, ages ranging from 8 to 80+. It’s been such a love of mine that I decided back in 2015 to set up my own gym with the styles of fitness and the appropriate equipment I believe works best.

Hi I’m Ali.

 

I qualified as a level 2 Exercise to Music instructor 2012 and teach evening classes around my full time job in finance. I also hold a certificate in kettlebell training. I’ve taught classes at different gyms over the years but WilLBfit is like home.

 

Current classes are Kettlebells and Combat at WillBfit and suitable for all levels of fitness.

Hi, I’m Rhian.

 

I’m a practice nurse and have been a nurse for 23 years. I have done yoga for about 20 years and qualified with a distinction with the BSY in 2015, since then I’ve completed courses in chair yoga teacher training, pre-post natal yoga teacher training, Teen meditation teacher training, child yoga teacher training and meta fit teacher training. I’m currently undergoing level 2 fitness instructor training/  Pilates teacher training  and Trauma healing practitioner level 2. 

Always one  for learning! I currently teach  Hatha Yoga  and have made it my own style called Flexandstrength where it also includes  my self written recorded relaxations for the end of class. There’s also another class I named FlexNBurn for a more intermediate style of yoga fitness.

Hi I'm Jake.

 

I joined WilLBFit in 2016 as a member and had Luke as my PT. Like many that join, I was bitten by the fitness bug, along with loving the gym community feeling he and Emily had created, so I wanted to be a part of helping them do this.

I became an instructor the following year and love to take part in the many gym fitness challenges we've done over the years like Tough Mudder, Fitathon, Chester half marathon.

 

My classes are welcome to all abilities, with the only requirement is to try your best.
